TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last Updated: October 13, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully prior to purchasing or accessing any online course materials, project files, or digital assets. By purchasing or accessing this course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Parties and Definitions

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and AHDJs and Steven M. Smith ("Seller," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your purchase of and access to our online course, digital resources, and accompanying downloadable project files ("Project Files").

2. Intellectual Property and Limited License

All course materials, video content, documentation, audio recordings, and Project Files provided through the course are the proprietary intellectual property of the Seller and are protected by applicable copyright laws.

  • Grant of License: Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, educational use only.

  • Prohibitions: You are expressly prohibited from copying, distributing, sharing, reselling, sublicensing, or publicly displaying any of the Project Files or course assets, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization from the Seller.

3. Trademark Restrictions

Session Lesson® is a registered trademark of the Seller.

You do not possess any license, right, or permission to use, reproduce, display, or exploit the mark "Session Lesson®" in any public venue, commercial setting, promotional material, online platform, or social media handle. Unauthorized use constitutes trademark infringement and will be subject to legal enforcement.

4. Health, Audio Safety, and Equipment Disclaimer

Audio and music production inherently involves high-volume playback environments:

  • Safety Obligation: You agree to monitor and play all audio, sounds, and music only at safe volume levels.

  • Limitation of Liability: The Seller accepts no liability or responsibility for any injury, physiological damage, temporary or permanent hearing loss, ear damage, or hardware/equipment failure (including speakers, monitors, or audio interfaces) resulting from playback at excessive or unsafe volumes.

5. Refund and Return Policy

Due to the downloadable nature of digital Project Files, refunds are strictly conditional:

  1. Mandatory Support Requirement: Prior to requesting a refund, you must first contact technical support by emailing [email protected] detailing the issue encountered.

  2. Implementation: You must make a good-faith effort to implement the technical guidance and recommended troubleshooting solutions provided by our support team.

  3. Refund Eligibility: If you fail to achieve success after receiving support and implementing the recommended solutions, you may request a refund. Refund requests must be formally submitted and received within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date. Requests made after 30 days are non-refundable.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The course and Project Files are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Seller does not guarantee specific commercial success, career outcomes, or individual proficiency levels resulting from completion of the course.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Seller’s total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms, the course, or the Project Files shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you for the course. In no event shall the Seller be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Seller's operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
